Please be sure you have the following requirements before applying:

  • A valid work permit (Canadian citizen or permanent resident).

Tasks & Responsibilities

Internally, you will work closely with our project manager and our production team to plan and complete installations. You will need to provide some quality control to ensure products are manufactured according to specifications. Externally, you will be required to use your excellent communication skills to troubleshoot on site and work efficiently with the rest of the team, various trades, and clients. Where multiple personnel are required on site, you will also help manage and supervise their tasks. Independence and common sense are very important to improvise when unexpected situations arise and to help us improve this part of the business. (This part is not mandatory: your plant knowledge, if any, will help identify possible needs and environmental requirements for both plant installations, as well as their growing mediums.)

You will also have to manage client expectations and make sure that all project installations are met with professionalism and client satisfaction. Most importantly, you will need to be highly organized, flexible to deal with variable conditions on site and be a great problem solver.

The position consists of the following tasks:

  • Site visits prior to installation
  • Logistics and planning
  • Interaction with clients to clearly understand their expectations
  • Analyze and resolve project issues in a timely and accurate manner
  • Work with the sales team to ensure projects are completed efficiently

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Efficient and handy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proactive and able to adapt to unexpected issues and situations
  • Must be courteous, reliable, diligent and be able to work independently
  • Must be able to handle requests on the fly and manage work efficiently under stress

We realize that our work is quite unique. We are looking for someone who is ready for this professional adventure and who will grow with the company. In return, we will provide training and the skill sets you require to be a great project installer.
