After two years of preparation and collaboration, we are proud to see the exhibition NIN “I am” come to life at the Musée de la civilisation in Quebec City.
Presented in partnership with Minwashin, the exhibition celebrates Anishinaabe culture and identity through contemporary art. NIN “I am” invites visitors to explore stories of belonging, connection to the land, and the rich heritage of Anishinaabe communities.
ByNature’s Contribution: Preserved Foliage Installation
ByNature had the honour of contributing to this remarkable project by designing and creating a preserved folia installation that complements the natural and cultural essence of the exhibition. Our installation adds an organic element that enhances the immersive experience and supports the exhibition’s themes of identity, culture, and storytelling.
Collaboration across our teams
The project was a true collaboration between our teams in Quebec and Toronto. In the photos, from left to right, you’ll see Miriel, our Chief Management Officer based in Quebec, and Angela, our Estimator and Sales Representative from the Toronto office, who were both closely involved in bringing this vision to life. They both got the chance to visit the exhibition last week!
Acknowledgements
We’re deeply grateful to Minwashin and the Musée de la civilisation for trusting us to take part in such an important cultural initiative.
📍 NIN “I am” is currently on display at the Musée de la civilisation until January 3rd, 2027.
