We proudly serve clients across Canada and the United States. Our team can assist with project consultations, design, and product shipping nationwide, and we offer installation services in select locations. We ship from our warehouses in British Columbia and Ontario to reach clients far and wide.

The raw materials used in ByNature’s Mossart and Preserved Folia walls are a combination of preserved mosses, lichens, and plants. The lichen used is grown in Norway, while other mosses come from Italy, France, and Spain. Our preserved plants are also sourced from a variety of European countries as well as parts of South America.

These natural materials are sourced exclusively from farms that have shown a strong commitment to sustainability and follow strict ecological practices. Lichen takes 20 years to grow, therefore, ByNature’s partnered farms will not harvest more than 5% of a field at any time. Once harvested, fields are left to repopulate for at least 20 years before being revisited. Our preserved plants are also grown in controlled environments with the intention to be harvested for preservation. No plant harvesting is done in nature, which limits the process’s environmental impact.

Preserved moss walls are made from real moss that has been sustainably harvested and treated to maintain its lush appearance without the need for water, light, or maintenance. Living walls, on the other hand, feature live plants that require watering and care.

No, you don’t have to water a preserved moss wall – it is totally maintenance-free. MossArt creations are made using preserved products that require no care. The eco-friendly process to preserve the moss consists of replacing the water in the plant with glycerin and food dye. Since there is no water in the plant, it will never dry out and maintain its natural texture.

Yes, it is a natural oil that is sometimes used in food preservation, so it is free of chemicals.

We can’t preserve all plants, as our growers cultivate only a selective number of plants and mosses from their local environments. From there, we also select our list of available plants based on our design needs and preferences.

The system itself is guaranteed for one year after installation. This includes the irrigation system, which comes with a limited one-year warranty on parts. It is recommended to subscribe to a maintenance program to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of the wall and irrigation system. With a maintenance contract, we also guarantee the plants.

Some are, and some prefer to stay indoors! Our living walls and certain artificial plants are great for outdoor spaces, while preserved moss and plants are strictly indoor beauties. Not sure? We can help pick the perfect option for your space.
